Seattle is a delightful place and we invite you to visit us anytime. We are always excited to show off our facility which includes over 150,000 square feet of production area. We also have guest offices available for our customers so you can be as comfortable and productive as possible while away from your home base.
We maintain a large inventory of gear steel in a variety of alloys and sizes for quick delivery and emergency requirements.
Carburizing and through hardened steel bars are kept in stock up to 32" diameter. All materials are purchased to strict procurement specifications.

Extensive CNC turning capacity for a variety of configurations and sizes provides unique productivity. Large vertical boring mills can turn gear blanks up to 144" diameter.
Precision Gear Cutting
Precision gears can be cut on special machines to high accuracy requirements.
CNC Gear Cutting
We use modern CNC gear hobbing and shaping machines to efficiently and accurately cut external and internal gears.
Heat Treatment Verification
After case hardening, hardness profiles are verified and documented with an automated Struers hardness measuring system.
Large CNC Gear Grinding
Internal and external gears can be precision ground with tooth modifications up to 2.6 meters.
CNC Gear Grinding
Our state-of-the-art form grinding machines can routinely grind internal and external gears to AGMA Q-13 accuracy. On board inspection systems verify that customer requirements are met.
CNC Milling and Drilling
We offer a large selection of precision CNC milling and drilling capacity.
Unique Gear Cutting
With over 60 years of unusual gear projects, we have developed an extensive inventory of special fixtures and gear cutting tools.
Electrical Runnout Inspection
Gear sets with proximity probes undergo electrical runnout recording and correction.
CNC Gear Checking
Gears up to 2.4 meters can be checked and recorded on our large gear analyzer. Gear geometry can also be ascertained on used gears for reverse engineering.
Tooth Contact Checking
Gear tooth contact patterns are routinely checked in precision roll stands.
Turbo Compressor Gear Inspection
High speed gears are usually made in matched sets requiring precise tooth profile and thrust collar contact patterns.
All items are 100% dimensionally inspected and documented per our ISO-9001 procedures. Gear tooth accuracies are independantly verified on special gear checking machines in our temperture controlled metrology lab.
Gearbox Repair Assessment
Each incoming gearbox is inspected and documented for damage. A scope of repair work and associated cost is produced.
Regenerative and four square load testing can be conducted on our test stand.
Assembly work is performed in our 20,000 square foot Gearbox Repair and Test Center. 20 ton cranes assist with large assemblies.
Inventories of replacement gears and bearings are maintained for fleets of gearbox repair projects.
Our crating department ensures all parts are carefully contained before shipping.
Each job is individually crated or rigged for safe delivery to the customer.
