In 2018, Machinists Inc. acquired the assets of the family-owned The Gear Works. The company had served the Seattle Community, North America, and beyond for approximately 70 years. The Gear Works has almost a century’s history supplying gears, gearboxes, and gearbox repair.

MI’s acquisition of The Gear Works significantly increased capacity and capabilities from the organizations working separately. Machinists Inc. will eagerly support the vast installed base of The Gear Works products and assist with new inquiries as well.
